What would give you more time for holiday.

Theory

On your first day of the course you will start in the morning and your dive instructor will do a theory review with you. Finally, you will get acquainted with the equipment with the instructor and then off the the fun part of the course. At this point you will do your confined water training with one of our instructors in confined water. You can complete all of your confined water training in one day.

In your confined water dives you will learn all you need to know in how to use scuba equipment. Also you will learn how to handle yourself under water as well as being prepared for any situation in the open water. We prefer to take a little more time with you in confined water.  This way you will be 100% comfortable when you go diving in the open water. Not only will you learn a lot, you will a have a lot of fun swimming around under water.

Open Water dives

The final two days of the course consist of your open water boat dives. This is the reason you doing the course for anyway, right? The open water portion of the course consists of 4 open water dives over two days. You will perform various dive skills both under water and at the surface, to make sure that you are a competent and safe diver. We split the skills over 4 dives so that you only are doing a few skills each dive. Of course you will spend the majority of your time diving with your instructor and exploring the underwater world.

Your first open water day will start with us picking you up at your hotel approximately 7-8 am. We will take you to Chalong pier where you will meet up with your instructor and set up your equipment on the boat. The boat ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Racha Yai island. Upon arrival there you will do your first dive in one of the shallow bays. In-between dives you will enjoy some lunch and rest up for your second dive. After your second dive the boat will return to and usually returns around 3:30 pm. Transfer will take you to hotel back.

Your second day of open water training will start again with a pickup at 7-8. Depending on the dive site that we go to for your 3rd and 4th dive the boat ride will be anywhere form 1 hour 30 minutes – 3 hours. You will do your two completion or “graduation dives” with lunch in between again and will return between 3:30 –  6:30 pm.
