Racha Noi – Marina Bay

The next bay south of Camera Bay with very similar features. Further to the south is a large single rock the runs from high on the hill side into the water below and beyond.

The granite rocks are a common site on the western side of Racha Noi Island. The follow the contour of the land and continue down under the water. There are quite a lot swim throughs in between the rock formations.

Currents can be quite strong out side the bay however although deeper than most bays in the area it is well protected from any passing currents.

Marita’s Rock is rumoured to be a manta ray feeding station. It is not unusual to see manta rays in the area particularly between December and March.

Dive boats go to Racha Noi every day of the week as a part of a 3 dive combo with Racha Yai.

All scuba diving dive sites are at the discretion of the tour leader on the day. Dive sites are selected based on the weather conditions, currents, safety and suitability to majority of divers on the boat. We cannot guarantee specific dive sites prior to the boat departing.
