Route

Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock, with the Boonsung wreck off Khao Lak at the end of the trip. The Similans offer clear water, granite boulders, swim-throughs and reefs, Koh Bon is a good place for manta rays, and Koh Tachai brings currents, schooling fish and big fish. Richelieu Rock is covered in soft corals, with whale sharks at times and plenty of macro life: seahorses, frogfish and octopus.

4 days / 4 nights, 15 dives. Evening boarding at Thap Lamu (Khao Lak), the first night on board. Day 1: three dives and a night dive at the Similan Islands. Day 2: two dives at the Similans, one at Koh Bon and a night dive at Koh Tachai. Day 3: three dives at Richelieu Rock and a night dive at Koh Tachai. Day 4: Koh Tachai, Koh Bon and the Boonsung wreck, back at Thap Lamu at around 17:00.

5 days / 5 nights, 19 dives. Evening boarding at Thap Lamu, the first night on board. Days 1-3: the Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, three dives and a night dive every day. Day 4: three dives at Richelieu Rock and a night dive at Koh Tachai. Day 5: Koh Tachai, Koh Bon and the Boonsung wreck, back at Thap Lamu at around 17:00.

This is a sample itinerary: dive sites are chosen according to the weather and currents. Groups of up to 4 divers per guide. The trips suit all certified divers, and currents can be strong at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.

The boat and cabins

Marco Polo is a fully renovated 23-meter liveaboard for up to 12 guests. 6 identical cabins on the main deck, each opening onto the outer deck. Every cabin has a bunk bed, its own air conditioning with a remote control, reading lights, shelves and 220 V outlets. The bathroom has a toilet, a sink, an LED mirror, a rain shower and a hand shower with hot water.

On board

A saloon with a TV and a dining area, Thai and international cuisine. A covered sun deck with bean bags. A 24 m² dive deck with room for your equipment and two ladders for easy entry and exit. On board: 40 tanks of 12 liters, oxygen, two Bauer compressors, generators, GPS, a dinghy and a life raft.

Prices for the 2026-2027 season

Price per person for the whole trip, a berth in a shared twin cabin with bunk beds, in Thai baht. The national park fee is paid separately, see the amounts below.

A cabin for one guest: 91 000 THB for 4 days / 4 nights and 111 000 THB for 5 days / 5 nights.
